This workshop will focus on the NIH suite of shared instrumentation grant programs, including the SIG and HEI Programs, as well as the new Shared Instrumentation for Animal Research (SIFAR) Grant Program. The purpose of these programs is to enable groups of NIH-funded researchers to purchase or upgrade expensive equipment in support of basic, translational or clinical areas of biomedical and bio-behavioral research (SIG and HEI) or animal research (SIFAR).

The workshop will feature a strategic overview, including pre- and post-award guidance, as well as a faculty panel who will share their perspectives on the programs. Please see the attached agenda for additional information.
