This Committee's goal is to develop an university-wide strategic plan for investigators working in biophysics, biochemistry, biological and physical chemistry. An important connection between these disciplines is the overlapping instrumentation and technical expertise required to work in these areas. Consequently, the Committee advises the Office for Research on the instrumentation and technical support needs of these disciplines on a biannual basis.

Imaging Advisory Committee
This Committee's goal is to develop an university-wide strategic plan for investigators working with advanced imaging technologies. An important aspect of this plan is identifying and procuring instrumentation and technical expertise required to work with these technologies. Consequently, the Committee advises the Office for Research (OR) on the instrumentation and technical support needs of these technologies on a biannual basis.
Inter-Institutional Core Advisory Committee
This Committee serves as an advisory board for the Open Access Initiative between Northwestern, the University of Chicago and the University of Illinois-Chicago. The members below are representatives from Northwestern and include senior faculty and senior administrators in the Office for Research.
Microfabrication Faculty Advisory Committee
This Committee is comprised of senior leadership in the McCormick School of Engineering (McC) and the Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences (WCAS) whose goal is to ensure communication and coordination of activities related to the microfabrication facilities on campus.

OR Review Panel - Spring 2018
This Committee is comprised of senior research administrators from McCormick, WCAS and FSM as well as directors and managers of core facilities whose function is to review internal equipment grants submitted to the Office for Research.

University Core Facility Advisory Board
This Committee meets quarterly to coordinate policies and procedures regarding core facilities across the University. Topics include strategic planning, marketing, professional development and tactical business decisions that promote and enhance the operations and management of core facilities.
